It's for 3 or 4 year olds. Each page is a fairly realistic depiction of a couple of animals raising young. I've glanced at it once or twice but never noticed anything odd about it. The oldest finally got old enough to read it, and apparently the animals are all gay. Two males swans raising eggs, etc.
