Re your comment about Christianity, it spread through conversion throughout the Roman Empire, it was not a forcible conquest (unlike say Islam). By the time the Western empire fell apart Christianity was already in place. Incidentally, Christianity took very different theological and philosophical approaches when it went eastwards rather than westwards and the eastern and western churches remain distinctly different entities to this day.

I believe an intelligent person would read my previous post to say that high aptitude people can also be violent. Interestingly enough, the Western dominance of the globe in the 19th into 20th century was, as things went, fairly peaceful and with minimal violence compared to the conquests of earlier empires. Whatever the colonial powers did nothing came close to the devastation they wreaked upon each other in 1914 and 1941. But can tell I'm only responding to a nutter with the sketchiest grasp of history so there's no point having a meaningful discussion.
