Imagining opposing counsel giddy with glee as they share with their colleagues their plan to pwn me in a MTD, thoughts racing to malpractice carrier, a client who would say “you did….WHAT?!”

Date: November 21st, 2025 7:55 PM Author: Passionate Ratface you'll get better. the things that should be going through your head at that point are "ok, amend the pleadings to add discovery rule and fraudulent concealment, massage facts and law to change accrual date of claims, figure out some way to make the client think it's either their own fault or defense lawyer being ridiculous, etc." LJL @ you if you wouldn't be able to figure out how to keep a case in court that was a little late (as in "blown deadline" late).
