Fucking thing wasn't even on a leash and just wandered around. I made brief eye contact with the creature and immediately assessed emergency exits, possible weapons for self-defense, and whether or not I could protect myself by jumping on a counter. The utter waste of humanity that brought the thing in -- a dirty transient who looked and smelled like shit -- came over and asked if he could "charge his phone" in the store. I said no and he got kind of angry. He said that as a customer he had a "right" to charge his phone. He left with the dog and I immediately ran to the office so I could view the security cameras.
