one of the trial highlights of my career was a trial over like a $15k loan collection matter against my client. Really shitty case against my client (loan to his LLC, they tried to get my client personally for signing one page of the loan packet without a corporate signature block).
They actually flew some douchey "executive" from the loan company out from CA for their witness. Armenian dude. Completely sleazeball.
I get him up to do some cross exam, and he was outwardly rude and insulting to me, telling me that I don't understand loans, etc. I won the case, and watching that asshole sulk out having to go all the way back to California was one of the better feelings I've had in law (and I've had far bigger wins than this)
