I'm with black people on smoke detectors - it's too tough to keep up at this poi

Date: November 8th, 2025 6:53 PM Author: Free-loading Prole There's a smoke detector every 10 feet in my house. They're all hard wired so if anyonoe even senses a fucking speck of dust at 3 am they all go off - and you can't tell which one is malfunctioning because its the whole house.
Despite being hard wired, they also all have 9 volt batteries, and the second that it runs out of battery (how?), it chirps non-stop unless you drop everything and fix it right then and there.
It can't start by chirping once an hour initially? It's that urgent? |

Try changing all of them whenever you need to change one. Then at least they'll all be roughly in phase, battery life wise. |
