Having money just makes you want more money. That’s why very few people actually retire early.
You see what just a little more could get you. $10 million feels like nothing because you aren’t flying private or don’t have the $4 million beach house.
You start donating to organizations and they treat you like a god and you get a taste of access and influence and just want more and more.
And you can do this at almost every level of wealth. Worth a billion? Feels like nothing because you can’t afford a pro sports franchise.
You always crave what’s just out of reach
