PC would be fine but Engineering aside, playing PC games which are controller and having to map buttons or whatever is....... prole. I mean what are you even doing at that point? You're just doing it in order to permanently win the gen regardless of what happens. it's a cop-out.
also in the PS2 era especially I was like "what the fuck is this shit," tons of western-made slop like Sly Cooper getting rave reviews. This continued through the PS3 gen and thereafter as the games got more adult and boring. Uncharted was good iirc.
again Sony is just an Engineering platform. CD was co-developed by Sony and Phillips. Sony was also one of the founding members of the DVD Forum, the industry group that defined the DVD standard. Sony was very central to Blu-ray’s development. They were one of the nine founding companies of the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA). Engineering, champ. It's never been about the games.
