The US will start canceling flights from Friday due to the prolonged government shutdown — media
On Wednesday, US officials stated that from Friday, the planned flight capacity will be reduced by 10% in 40 busy areas of the country, as the ongoing government shutdown is causing serious staffing issues.
Earlier, it was reported that a near-complete halt of air transportation in the US could occur if the shutdown continues.
