I asked him if I could bring one of his several stuffed animals along—I asked for it by name. He was delighted I needed something from him— his whole face lit up like the sun — great big smile — and he said “Sure!” So emphatically. Those good times when they are small are short and go by so fast. Try it. You don’t have to report just try it. Odds are they may remember thst forever, with new richer insight each time they recall it. |
