665 days, last 250 or so days have been doing chess though.
Which is much easier for my ADHD riddled brain to knock out.
I don't take any particular pride in it, just a thing to kill time, when I'm waiting somewhere for something.

Yeah, I'm not under any impression that it's good for anything you seriously want to learn.
I did French for several months before we took a trip there, still struggled quite a bit with normal pleasantries.
If you actually want to seriously learn something you need to spend more time than a gamified 10-20 minutes a day.
If I actually wanted to learn chess I should use a computer program that analyzes your games and tells you which moves were mistakes, alas, what Duolingo has going for it is that the interface is fairly fictionless.
Its a cheap plastic toy.
