They met with Iran over the summer and told them their plan but not when it was happening. It might have worked but Hezbollah and Iran were both like, “Goddamnit, Hamas.”

Isnt the huge flaw in this theory that there wasn't really a fight? They were just murdering kids at a concert and then killing babies and stuff?
If Iran joined in doing that, pretty sure that's the end of Iran. |

It was very interesting to learn how close a huge war was. Putting the carrier group in play and helping Israel knock down Iranian missiles was extremely important for staying at a lower level conflict, it turns out. |

How the fuck was this supposed to happen? They needed states that actually border Israel, not all the way on the other side of the region. They couldn't even get their army to Israel because the states in between wouldn't allow them to pass through.
For this to have been a success they needed a well coordinated and prepared attack with a united Muslim front backed by Russia and China. That wasn't remotely plausible here. |
