The argument would be (and a strong one at that), that the court does not have the jurisdiction to grant a DVTRO against the petitioner unless the respondent filed a competing one. CSLG’s perspective defense: when one dramatically increases one’s status, which he has, making tens of millions of dollars a year, one naturally wants strange pussy.
