Look, "prestigious" is not totally synonymous with "classy", but its main components are franchise value/accomplishment and classiness. **All else being equal**, a small-market franchise is more prestigious than a large-market one. Really tipping my hand here, but being located in a shitty state while claiming a nicer/more important state in your name is the height of unprestigiousness. Genuinely HTFH.
By this standard, the Jets need to be far, far, far lower, as they are The Clown Franchise. In my mind, they'll always be that like '09-'15 team. The one where rex ryan had a tattoo of his wife, anthropomorphized as Lola Bunny, naked except for a mark sanchez jersey.
I could maybe stomach seeing the jags lower than the jets because the jags franchise is just so goddam shitty and irrelevant -- they're almost certainly the most forgotten franchise on Sporcle quizzes -- but there's no fucking way they should be above the saints or the bills dude are you fucking kidding me. |
