Which "team" you're on aside, these massive insurance subsidies are a bad idea because they line the pockets of insurers, inflate the costs of healthcare, and mask the fact that both of those can happen because people do not feel it directly given that they pay only the subsidized rate.
It's kind of similar to student loans making students less price sensitive and inflating the cost of higher education. |
