At the current pace it seems totally reasonable for russia to take both sloviansk and zap under siege during 2026 and actually take them in 2027.
True its pretty meager. But still worse for ukraine than what could have been had in 2022. Without the millions of death and awful slav migrants invading our public spaces. But hey at least we got to pay higher gas prices in the meantime! |

The mext gen intelligence + removal from domestic polticial pressure has made the nato command structure suprisingly effective at plugging gaps. It still takes many days for russians to take little hamlets on the way to huliapole. Huliapole is a fait accompli but it will still take weeks if not months to unfold.
