The question used to be when China's GDP would surpass the U.S., not if. Now there is a good chance that it will never happen. Even if it does, it will likely be short-lived as China's economy stagnates due to the lack of young workers. I don't see this changing unless the CCP makes major reforms (or loses power entirely). |
