my uncle (by marriage) was shot in the bone in the back of his ear (not sure if you count that as a headshot) with an AK, the bullet ricocheted off and he survived.
And because it isnt something that is spoken about , i only know the details through my mother who heard from her sister, the guy's wife.
But re waking up in ICU on heaving drugs, that is why i heard as well.
