However, I’ve witnessed American veterans become homeless and disabled, which I attribute in part to the shortcomings of the healthcare system and the actions of political leaders. I’ve seen my neighbors and friends fall into homelessness, and as a Christian, I feel it’s my duty to help others. When I reached out to HUD, I was told that assistance is often unavailable unless you’re financially well-off, like George Soros. I received similar responses from various agencies.
Despite these challenges, I feel blessed and grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to deepen my faith.
