  if you want a new car that depreciates massively, you need to pepper your angus.  it's gonna hurt.  doesn't matter if you lease or buy, you will be owning that depreciation.  if you want to avoid this problem, find a similar car that is a few years old, or something different entirely 
 
  edit: leases are generally priced at the number that the new car loses to depreciation, plus interest, taxes and fees.
