If a woman's hypergamy threshold is, say, the top 20% of men, then the bottom 80% of men have nothing to offer her by definition. They will never have anything to offer her. And there is always going to be a bottom 80% of men who are below her hypergamy threshold. That can't ever change. "Men" are not "failing her," and there is in fact literally nothing that "men" can do to change her willingness to enter monogamous relationships with them
