Oh, what a "hoax"! He didn't get the Pulitzer for a single photo, he got it because of the body of work during the Gaza War, of which this was just one (1) particular photo. https://www.pulitzer.org/sites/default/files/styles/image_slider/public/Pulitzer_Saher-Alghorra_Gaza_07_0.jpg?itok=aWkS7kx9 arguably would've made a better cover photo anyway.
