we cook a ton of Mediterranean food. they go quickly. think about it -- i think our greek salad uses like 3/4 cup olives. a jar will go quickly, and we might not go to costco's for another 3-4 months or more.
we use "fancy" plastic cutlery & plates for big shabbat dinners with lots of ppl. dont wanna be scrubbing 12 peoples' nasty plates and cutlery. we're not prole and throw shit in the dishwasher w/o getting the nastiness off it. plus if we do a dairy meal, we dont even have a dairy dishwasher so we've got to wash everything entirely by hand.
the cheap solo cutlery is for the kids and traveling

"we're not prole and throw shit in the dishwasher w/o getting the nastiness off it."
You are supposed to not wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher otherwise the soap will have nothing to adhere to to get the dishes clean. This is supported by science & fact.

nobody's using nice china for a meal of over a certain size
as i said, we use disposable if it's a large party. it's socially acceptable in our world, and i'm sure it's socially acceptable in any world.
i can't imagine goyim who have 20-25 people over for a huge family thanksgiving meal have a matching set of dishes serving 20-25.

we went friday morning. probably took an hour getting all the shit and checking out. it was pretty empty in are country on a friday morning.
what took a shitton of time was loading all this shit into the trunk of a corolla. we had to put shit in the floor of the back seat and it was some serious clown car shit.
and then bringing it into the house, and then putting everything away. what a hassle.

what's odd?
yes, 12 lb flour. target sells the normal 5 lb bag for 5.99. that makes target 44% more.
almost everything at costco is super sized. even the bag of mortons water softener pellets is 44 lb, whereas at lowes/HD they're 40 lb.

we use soda stream. much better than any bottled seltzer, and also comes out way cheaper.
beer? lol gross; we don't drink beer.
we do regularly buy hard liquor at costco, but wife has been pregnant / nursing and we haven't used much recently. i use the kirkland & ellis irish whisky (which is really jameson) with guests when we have shabbat meals.
we were well stocked on laundry detergent, but good call.
i don't wear undershirts. i'm not a prole.
my socks are in great condition and i bought them like 7-10 years ago. but good tip for when i need.

the bottle says aged in OAK CASKS; it doesnt say WINE casks and irish law requires such a disclosure, which makes it kosher.
http://consumer.crckosher.org/liquor/irishwhiskey/
Certified products are preferable to those listed on the Liquor List as Acceptable. Many Irish Whiskies are aged in casks that previously held sherry, sauterne, port or other wines. Others have special "finishes" or multiple "maturations" that include aging in wine casks. All of these practices raise kashrus concerns. The cRc policy is that Irish Whiskey is permitted unless the label or company website state that it is aged in a wine cask, has a special finish, or an extra maturation (as noted above). The label and company website of each bottle should be carefully checked before using it, and one should avoid wording such as double or triple finish, double or triple matured, dual casks or finish, European or French casks, Madeira finish, port, sauterne, or sherry and other wine casks. The cRc listings of acceptable Irish Whiskies includes products that are certified and/or known to not have been aged in wine casks.

Irish Whiskey: As a result of the work of the KLBD with the distillers, Irish legislation has been changed and it is no longer permitted to add flavour enhancers (including those which are wine based) to Irish whiskey. Therefore all whiskey bottled in Ireland since mid 2009, without any mention of the use of sherry, port or other wine casks on the label or marketing literature, can be consumed confidently without any halachic concerns.

it's kosher according to the kosher authorities i've poasted. i'm sorry you disagree with them, but any mainstream orthodox jew follows the CRC.

poor rc? assuming kirkland irish whiskey is regular jameson, regular jameson is not mentioned as not recommended. only jameson signature reserve is not recommended.
regular jameson is aged in oak casks: https://www.jamesonwhiskey.com/en-us/our-whiskey/jameson-irish-whiskey/
the sig reserve appears to be aged in sherry casks: https://caskcartel.com/products/jameson-signature-reserve-blended-irish-whiskey
this isnt difficult.

i dunno; the internet said it was jameson, but who knows what's on the internet. what is it supposed to be then?
i drink/serve it straight up and i'm hardly a total drunk. i think it's smooth and it doesn't give me bad hangovers.
the only time i'm drinking is at a shabbat dinner. pass it around and do a l'chaim or two. nobody seems to be complaining.
is there a better whiskey/scotch for the same price that's better? a 1.5L is like $35 i think.

tons of recipes have pepper, and it'll last a year. even if it goes bad, it's still cheaper than buying elsewhere.

we cook w/ white pepper too for azn stuff; but you can't buy it at costco. the spice selection is very limited. they used to have saffron for very cheap, but no longer.
