people here have a really tough time just saying "i don't know". They'll know 1 piece of information about most subjects and then confidently discuss it in depth as if an entire body of knowledge can be extracted from it. |

Date: July 18th, 2022 6:48 PM Author: Rambunctious parlour candlestick maker yeah, i think it's one of the main reasons i hated law school, it was chock full of people with unearned confidence whose day job was to learn only the skill of matching rules that other men created to a similar set of circumstances. that's it, that's what lawyers do. there's little innovation or interest, it's glorified clerk work and yet everyone had massive egos like they were on the same level as people doing actual, important, humanity advancing work.
not sure if it's one of my bigger strengths or weaknesses but i freely volunteer i don't know something when i don't. |
