Zenith is the el primero. Seems crazy to get a non-chronograph zenith. |

1) Zenith is older than AP and DEFY is older design than anything from AP.
2) If you mean it's not chronograph, some people don't want that in a watch. DEFY's movement is simple and more importantly, extremely small giving it a low profile. The only watch with a lower profile is Santos
3) Only VC and Patek are on AP's level |

Date: October 8th, 2025 3:45 PM Author: mountain cat The defy line covers a lot of ground. The specific ref you mentioned is a blatant copy of the Royal Oak. I’m not even saying it’s not a nice watch. I just wouldn’t feel good about spending thousands of dollars on it.
Zenith is a great brand with tons of history 100% of which is tied to the el primero movement. So if I’m going to shell out $5-10k on a zenith, it is definitely going to be a chronograph. These are just my opinions. |
