and the first day i go to the bathroom to take a deuce. and i see something i had never seen before. there was shoe prints on the toilet seat. and i go "that's weird". and i go to another stall. same thing. shoe prints on each side, toes facing outwards. guys keep quiet about it a solid 2 days. i remember breaking the seal in my group. "so...um...what's the deal with guys standing on the toilet seats? are we going to broach this subject or am i bugging?"

needless to say, some how it was communicated to these cats that standing on toilet seats is not normal behavior.

here is what i am interested in though. the only way that works is if you took off your pants, right? but to do that you have to take off your shoes. but there were shoe prints on the toilet seats. did they take off their shoes, take off their pants and then put their shoes back on? these stalls didn't have like hooks either. did they take off their pants and put them over the door? did they hold them in their hands bunched like a ball while teetering on the edge of a toilet seat draped over a toilet bowl?

so many questions. its been over 10 years and i still have questions.

1) you decide you have to take a shit

2) you go to stall

3) you close said stall

4) you drop pants as you would customarily do in order to facilitate the taking of said shit

5) you have to climb up onto the toilet with the seat down

6) this adds quite literally a new dimension to the process of voiding your bowels. customarily, you are voiding on a horizontal plane. there is now an additional vertical plane added to this otherwise normal process. can you climb with your feet/ankles restricted around your feet. try it right now. drop your pants and try to climb two steps.

7) assuming one ascends the stair and half/two step level up ONTO the toilet seat. you are still FACING the wall and the attendant exposed plumbing, not the wall. so now you would have to turn around in net effect crossing your feet to assume a position conducive to the tidy voiding of your bowels.

see what i'm saying? are they using the walls for support? did they drop stuff from their pockets into the can?

As far as dexterity, people from squat toilet countries learn to squat for long amounts of time without it hurting. If you’ve ever been to India, that’s how they wait for trains and stuff in rural areas where there are no seats. They can squat for hours. Stepping up to an elevated platform is nothing for them.
