So they'd be 54 years old today. Ron Livingston, who played Peter Gibbons, is about to turn 58. In the film, the Lumburgh character, who is depicted as old, and stodgy and out-of-touch, turns 41. Lumburgh would be 67 today. The actor who played Lumburgh, Gary Cole, turns 69 this year. Time has passed us by. Now I'm much more of a Lumburgh and much less of a Peter Gibbons. I don't know what's going on. I sit in the dark and I drink coffee and I smoke cigarettes and I don't know where this wild road is taking me, long ago it became just the road I'm on, and Tuesday's gone with the wind.
