The reason why China has succeeded in recent decades has been because of their private enterprise and their human capital, all despite their government. The Chinese government has blundered left and right and has no idea what they’re doing. It’s hopelessly corrupt and ineffective
Have you ever even had a single real genuine conversation with a native Chinese person? That wasn’t an economic transaction? Not even a rhetorical question. I would not be surprised if you have literally never interacted on a human to human level with a single one of them ever in your entire time spent there. Every single Chinese person, once you get to know them and they trust you, will tell you this same thing. Even the literal Party members. It can be difficult to get them to open up though, for obvious reasons |
