"We had an armored column take the 5 to the 110 to the 25 and then were routed around construction on the 305 and ended up back on the 101 heading toward Ventura, which is nowhere near where we wanted to be," he said. "We decided to head down toward Long Beach on the 710, but the traffic was backed up for miles," he added.
