We were all taught about the accelerating, expanding universe in school like it was a given, and it’s “discovery” even won a Nobel Prize. |

So unless intelligent life pulls something amazing out of its ass, the Universe is going to be a lifeless graveyard of stars very early in its existence. And at that point, who really cares whether a dead Universe is expanding or not? There will be no living consciousness to give a shit. |
