he may be semi-controlled, in the sense that he is part of a deep state factional war. I think that is what is going on. all of these people are bad faith actors on some level, taking money from deep state, Russia, China, of course Israel. and they are in a turf war. |

all the same, fuentes has also been working the same angle to an extent, but from a more sectarian angle (the 'tradcath' LARP). tucker claims to be religious, but is mostly post-sectarian. bannon is an outright zionist, but probably sees anti-zionism as a trend to be managed in a specific way, and he intends to use fuentes to help with that management. |

basically, there is a 'Pivot to Asia' deep state faction (Elbridge Colby, Tucker types) who think 40 years bogged down in the mideast is enough, are sick of Epstein style Jew mafia monkeyshines, and see China as a legitimate 'threat' that cannot be addressed until the albatross of AIPIAC/Zionism is cut loose.
this makes some superficial sense. but i have not dug too deeply into it.
Bannon is not to be trusted. he probably sees AF as the new 'Alt Right,' something to cozy up to to raise his profile, then subvert and pervert, as he did w/ the Alt Right in 2016. he also sees it as damaging to Tucker and other grifters who have crowded him out of the Griftspace, which appeals to him. |

if you are a 'dissident right' personality, working with bannon seems like a dumb idea, since his eventual goal will be to backstab/dispose of you. |
