Prestigious Chicago Personal Injury Firm?

Is anyone actually familiar with the PI market in Chicago? I'm only interested in working for a firm that is very selective about the cases it takes.

Personal injury is an old boys' network, and the best cases go to only a few firms. Those firms do not promote associates to partner generally, generally do not pay associates very well, and do not allow associates to get the same experience in high level cases that they could get on the defense side. Out of school, you want to go to a smaller defense side firm that is known for trying the nastiest cases.
