whistle pig is mostly sourced from canada btw. they don't make their own stuff. they bottle a rye that was distilled to mix into canada club.
one of my most 180 whiskey trips was to whistlepig though. they have a whole house for people buying barrels and other vip guests. it was fully stocked, had a private chef, and the tour guide was a former miss vermont who was dtf (sadly i was not single).

islay is tough to get to but its small and it makes distillery hopping 180. the biggest three (laphroig, lagavulin, and ardberg) are within walking distance from each other and one of the largest towns there.
i got so drunk at laphroig and lagavulin that i was flagged at ardbeg. this was on a vip insiders tour full of liquor industry people, so quite an accomplishment. i was also covered in mud because i chased a lamb and got zapped by an electric fence and fell. this contributed greatly to my divorce.
all in all it was 180. no complaints, trip of a lifetime!
