We could sign a lease as planned and then break the lease once we decide where we want to live and I get a job. Trying to jam through a cross-country move that requires us both to find new jobs, childcare, and a place to live in 8 weeks is stupid. Plus we haven't decided where we want to live long term and could be repeating the mistake that led us to California in the first place. She told me that I may need to stay here and she was going to move with my daughter until I find a job because she didn’t want to live in an apartment/townhouse where we could pay a break fee. She feels her job is too unstable and that doing telemedicine would be too isolating because our daughter will be in daycare instead of with a nanny and she will be home alone.
