My my my. Pardon me, bitchy-woman-who-has-called-every-hour-since-8am. I am sorry that you’ve been unable to speak to one of my superiors today, but that is because they have been in meetings and hard at work on preparing things for the start of classes; it’s harsh, but you’re not at all an issue they need to prioritize. Not to mention that you’ve been asking to get in contact with the wrong person, and the correct person you need to speak to has been trying to call you over the past few hours and you didn’t answer.
I appreciate that you are frustrated, but I’m honestly having a hard time pitying you when you waited until the last possible day to attempt to take care of a complicated matter that we are incapable of solving in a single day. So I don’t appreciate when you get snippy with me as I try to explain to you the way things are and attempt to find a way for you to get the information you need.
Oh, and I’m not really concerned when you make a point of asking me for my name, most likely so that you can complain later when things probably don’t work out for you (because I didn’t get you to the people you needed, right). Considering that all of my coworkers know that I have answered every one of your calls politely and that you’ve been hassling everyone you come in contact with.
Though I will apologize for that small laugh I let slip when you got extra snappy with me. I’m sorry, I just have a really tough time maintaining composure when idiots get angry at me for trying to be helpful.
