Is this normal? What must an essay/PT be to get in the 60s. this is fucking scary.

anyone know what a 50s/60s essays look like?

could an essay be in the 50s based on a misstatement of the law and a few missed issues?

if you spot and analyze the major issues, the lowest you can get is supposedly a 65. however, you'd be surprised what they count as a "major" issue sometimes

don't worry. the reason this dude fails is because of his PT scores. with a solid MBE + PT u can fuck up the essays and be fine. everyone who went to a good school will have a passing PT score at least

The most important part of the CA PT's is to make sure you answer all parts and finish. One of them will probably have a fuckton of parts or subparts to address - just be organized and you should get at least a 60.

The blog guy obviously can't write. Also, he consistently bombs essays that should be easy, such as the full PR essays. You have no excuse for bombing a full PR essay.

Get off the web, and get back to work. You'll pass.

cr, full PR essays can be tough when the facts give you little to work with but after taking it 10 TIMES it should be easy to figure out how to lay pipe on them. there's a stock format moreso than any other subject.

he must be on a no pass list by now, he's gotten sort of close a few times and I can't see them passing someone who repeatedly fails to obtain a damn 65 on a PT

He has to be a truly awful writer to fail with a 149 raw. A 149 raw is 162.4 scaled. http://admissions.calbar.ca.gov/Portals/4/documents/CorrectedMBEConversionTable_201107.pdf
