this is my hope but people are soooo brainwashed into thinking it HAS to be Ds or Rs. it is a good sign that there are more registered independents than ever, though; it means maybe people are moving away from treating politics like team sports. https://news.gallup.com/poll/700499/new-high-identify-political-independents.aspx

Most Americans are just completely disgusted bc we all know that Israel controls our fucking country. Dems’ entire ideology is Jewish to begin with so they’re less likely to opt out of the system.

Basically each party is beholden to Jewish interests (and has been for probably 30 years). And while there are some differences in what Jews want on each side, they have massive common ground.

The bigger issue is that neither party is actually proposing anything to address the deeper underlying issues. Part of that is because of regulatory capture and capture by donors, and part of it is because of a genuine lack of understanding of the deeper issues.
Healthcare is shit in large part because of the ACA, but instead of looking for third ways, you get Dems running around saying "access to insulin is a human right!" lolwut
Meanwhile, the GOP is running around pretending that things are fine...or worse yet, that Trump's Presidency has been some panacea. The amount of spam texts I get talking about "we can't lose what we've accomplished!" are insane. What exactly have we accomplished?
But each side also benefits from the general malaise. Whoever is out of power can blame the party in power for issues that are largely baked in the cake.
And neither side will actually offer up the sort of true radical solutions needed to address the issues because doing so would either cut off the flow of funds from donors or lead to a massive market crash.
