And they are slightly different. The first sentence implies that there may be more than one car that you own, but that you are simply adding a qualifier to it to specify which one you are discussing. The second sentence implies that there is only one car that you own, and you adding a phrase that gives some detail. |

now only if you knew the correct rule would you see the absurdity in doing this.
the only time i don't follow the rule is when you have a lot of "that's" in a sentence.
