Here:
- Lowe's likely gave her a delivery date far out in the future so she's already probably upset, using a spare fridge, eating out, etc.
- Lowe's chose to hire contractors who have their own policies for delivery and don't give a fuck about CS
- The contractor's are all different and your experiences may vary from one to the next
- If the fridge doesn't fit, it will be her fault and they'll charge her a restocking fee
All of this could be avoided if, like in the good days, Lowe's sent out a salesman with a fucking catalogue, the salesman took measurements, the customer ordered the fridge, and it was delivered by a Lowe's employee who took the old fridge back with him.
I mean this is disastrous and I feel bad for her.

No one is willing to pay for customer service.
When I see a car dealer or something advertising its customer service im just like “lol fag I’ll just get the cheapest one.”

Future time orientation, iq, etc.
You do not think about the lost time / money dealing with a pajeet in 8 months.
as is usually true, the rich are rich for good reasons, and they will buy from a place where they know they will not lose time and money in the future.
the poor are thinking BESTPRICENOW

customer svc is such a non-tangible abstract value (what do you mean once my product breaks? my product works fine right now!), corps are smart to degrade it.
they are literally selling worse physical, tangible products (here's the same thing but made of chinese plastic, shit fast growth wood, etc etc) and people are paying more
if people will shell out for literal garbage, there will be no shortage of corps to sell it.

Airlines are the best example again. Literally everyone is like, "And you'll never see me again on United after this experience!!!!"
then two months later theyre like "oh i guess United is $2 cheaper i'll go with them"

It's a terrible experience. You have to be there and you don't know the delivery date until right before. You won't know the time until the day of delivery.
Want it brought in your door instead of left on your front porch? That'll be $150. Want your old fridge removed? That'll be another $150. Need it carried upstairs? That'll be another $150.
Live in a condo building? Oh, you'll need to get a COI, pay $25 to the building to get the form. Take the form to the delivery company. Oh, they didn't fill it out right, sorry can't get in the door, have to reschedule the delivery.
Oh, your fridge was dented? Too bad, you already signed for it.
Want to return it? That'll be another $150 restocking fee.

As a dictator it's pretty easy.
Declare any corporation selling products >$100 to have only on-shore customer service agents.
Declare any corporation delivering products of a certain size and weight to only provide delivery with their own employees within 5 business days. No restocking fees for any reason whatsoever, this will force them to measure entryways before agreeing to sell fridges that don't fit.
Toss Gunner in a woodchipper
It's really pretty simple. The hard mode is doing anything like this in our current kiked out globohomo society where your votes are basically meaningless past the local level.

You haven't heard of on-shore, off-shore, near-shore, etc.? Common business terms. Um it's usually the continental U.S. but we can include Hawaii and Alaska.
Enforcement - something like the CFPB, heavy fines at the federal level after a certain point, and nuclear option would be to strip their EIN.
You asked me to solve this particular problem so I haven't contemplated every other product or service. But yeah I'd support American-friendly policies like this.

Stop making excuses for this chimp. Are you nuts also? This has nothing to do with customer service. Lowe's will gladly take that fridge back and refund her money.
Speaking of customer service, most American retailers are pretty decent at it. Where else in the world can you return goods and get your money back?
