The difficulty these Asians have is moving their winnings across the border to another country. There are no banks that let you deposit money in Macao or Cambodia and withdraw in London. Ideally, they would just stash it in a suitcase and travel to a country where they can deposit it.

However, having a passport from another Asian country makes you an easy victim for corrupt border cops. They can shake down Asians and take their cash without it affecting tourism etc. They are much less likely to bother an American citizen or search your luggage. They won't even suspect that you're a money launderer, since so few Americans are in the game.

All you have to do is get to a VIP room at the Wynn and wear your US passport on a lanyard around your neck. You might be the only US citizen in the entire casino. As long as you're prepared to talk business, you can strike up convos in the VIP rooms and have a jerb in <60 minutes.
