The local restaurants yuppies go to all buy the same sysco products and in many cases their "elite" cuisine is worse than simple fare because it's easier to mess up a more complicated dish. In other cases these restaurants are scams designed to take advantage of "trendy" people by selling them things the restaurant couldn't dump during the week as a brunch "special."
If I were being completely honest I'd say that 90% of restaurants are actually just worse than Wendy's and Friday's. |
