I began studying when barbri started and studied hard the whole summer. That said, I was taking the CA bar and barbri's schedule has a shitload to do so I prioritized according to my strengths. I didn't do a ton of MBEs (basically sets 1-5, the half day and a few MPQ2s) but I read every explanation, whether I got it right or wrong and made flashcards on anything I thought I would forget. I didn't do any PTs or watch the essay workshops but I didn't go to people's college of law and thought after 3 years of law school and legal internships, I could handle writing an essay or memo as long as I knew the law. Plus I thought the PTs were just a way to weed out the total idiots. Also, I watched almost all of the lectures, typed them out, made flashcards of the CMR (A LOT and i do mean a lot) and memorized like mad. I am not saying practice isn't important but after awhile, I just focused on memorizing the law rather than doing every MBE practice Q or essay Q I could find.
