Date: May 22nd, 2025 3:09 PM Author: odious space candlestick maker it's a european clubwear thing that american drug (cocaine, specifically) dealers and various hip hop icons adopted as a fashion statement. it doesn't have as much of the original connotation there now as it's become very mainstream but at a design level the bones of the originating spirit are still there i'm a proponent of the murse myself for a variety of reasons and have no issue with it. better than the unsightly bulges and rips caused by filling your pockets and it allows you to carry around many interesting trinkets and small books that you can hand out and occasionally barter with men's wallets tend to be quite bulky and ruin the silhouette of the pants themselves so a small bag is a good way to offset that and still allow a good fit to shine through |
