The GOP can't draw talent from the prole ranks as readily as shitlibs can. There's basically an infinite supply of shitlibs right now. You can kill 10 million shitlib elites and they'll just replace them with fresh bodies

i was thinking who would be the lefty equivalent of kirk, and there is literally no one. This "hasan" fellow who has a podcast?

The lefty equivalents of kirk, fuentes, hyde, theo, rogan, that fat gay comedian, etc etc... are like... CNN anchors?

Left doesnt have a B-level team, and right doesnt have an A-level team, apart from Musk, Thiel, and silicon valley bros whose names no one knows.

Left has hundreds highly institutional celebrity leaders (anchor of NBC nightly news) and then [huge gap] nameless girl journos who have four stories about race in an online newspaper.

Right has a few lone souls on top, but a huge number of name-recognized B-listers.

they can turn anyone into a martyr too, like the big fatass who got run over in Charlottesville while smoking a cig. It didn't look like she was there to protest, she was just grabbing a pack of smokes

the fight for AI is big, bc in ten minutes when tv news and newspapers die, the rest of the information ecosystem is spoken for

right has podcasts, twitter, chans, am radio. left has reddit, bluesky, discord, npr. and they never cross pollinate

LLMs will be the contested territory

I have a counterargument to this, which is that neither side has a monopoly on information. The mainstream media is ALWAYS the official word on anything that happens. If the NYT says we pulled out of Afghanistan on August 31, no one questions it, they just argue about whether we should have done it so hastily.
