I'd like to keep her company, but I don't want this to turn into a regular thing.

She was *really* old and was paying like $100/month in rent, b/c she had lived in the building forever. I would read her mail to her and listen to her tell me about her sisters never visiting.
I eventually really liked having her as a friend, and she would even watch our cats for us when we went out of town. |
