Date: August 25th, 2006 1:37 AM Author: Histrionic fuchsia half-breed theater i think it would have quite a significant effect, since most of the time a candidate gets a boost in admissions when they have an unusual/atypical background compared to their peers applying to the same law school. since ip background applicants make up a larger percentage of applicants at boalt than they do at many other law schools, i'd imagine that being one of those applicants wouldn't increase your chances... you'd be just one ip applicant among many others. unless, of course, boalt wanted to admit a very high number of ip aspiring applicants. i don't know if this is the case. |
