I would assume a ding if you just get a letter, but, on the other hand, I've never heard a recruiter mention drafting offer letters. The offer I wound up taking came as a phone call with a vague promise of a letter being drafted soon-ish. Like 3 weeks later I got the thing. And it was back when everybody respected NALP, so the guideline period (it wasn't 45 days like it is now, but something like that) didn't start until the letter actually showed up. Pretty ballin. |

EDIT: But once, I *was* extended a callback in a letter. It was really weird. I assumed it was a ding letter coming a week later, but no, it told me to call them to schedule a callback. |
