Could you incorporate with one or more other people and under the laws of your state not be personally on the hook for any losses if your biz. goes under? Is this possible for franchisees?
Obviously, if you didn't want any of your own money on the hook your biz. entity would have to take out a loan to finance the startup of your franchise, and no bank would give you a loan if your entity didn't have some assets to secure it. So ultimately you'll be on the hook, right? |
