Good to see the CHIPS Act getting good reviews from industry commentators these days. For a while I heard it was stagnating under woke DEI requirements.
We should make military aid to Taiwan contingent upon them sharing and moving at least some of their facilities for the most advanced chips to the US. Apparently they are trying to keep capacity for the most advanced chips for themselves, but we're in a position to exercise leverage on them to spread the wealth.
And we should make it easy for Taiwanese, Korean, etc chip workers to come here to work.
