that seems intuitive but he is right. spinning *with* the tornado renders the vortex powerless against you and you can finally get firm traction. it's like steering into the skid when driving on ice.

the former is riskier for sure but sometimes you have get out of there. the third option is to scrunch down and grab the bottom of the vortex with your hands and lift it above your head and kind of toss it sideways. it's made of air so it's not as heavy as you'd imagine.
